But beyond clothing, I have memories of clocks, eating utensils and furniture. Ah, marketing! I would love to write up a piece, detailing the absurd amounts of Nintendo merchandise I had amassed as a kid. Thinking back, I can't even remember where half of it came from. A giant, wooden Nintendo toy chest? Where do you even get something like that? I had a Mario Telephone. Why? Someone should make a website, dedicated to archiving video game clothing.

But those I gave away to my friend Adrienne, who is so tiny she actually fit into them. I felt it was a good deal. I think the only one that survived for me, was my pre-order Mario 64 shirt from Toys-R-Us. What a lame-looking shirt, too. Even when I was a kid, I was embarrassed to wear it.
